Research Objectives: To complete a thorough online review of information on current accredited physical therapy schools offering business training. This may serve as a model for additional health professional training programs to integrate business knowledge.

Design: Application of a marketing management framework combined with comprehensive internet search of publicly available information.

Setting: Not Applicable

Participants: Not Applicable

Interventions: Not Applicable

Main Outcome Measures: A comprehensive comparative market analysis of accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) programs that offer business training by applying a market value mapping framework.

Results: The comprehensive literature review identified nine accredited DPT programs offering business courses in both in-person and virtual formats. The completion of the programs varies in time frame and format. They also differ in credit hours, tuition, and graduation requirements.

Conclusions: By conducting this comprehensive analysis, we aim to determine the necessity for the establishment of more DPT programs that offer a variety of business training formats, to enhance professional management and leadership skills for PT professionals. In addition, this will serve as a model for additional health professional training programs to model.
