Learning Objectives:

Identify the methodological challenges in conducting meta-analyses and systematic reviews in the field of Long COVID, including issues related to participant inclusion/exclusion criteria, sample sizes, and study comparability.
Explore the gaps in the literature on interventions for cognitive and psychological symptoms in Long COVID, particularly the lack of randomized controlled trials (RCTs), and the need for standardized criteria for defining neuropsychological symptoms.
Discuss the importance of designing studies with methodologies that allow for easier comparison and aggregation in systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and propose guidelines for future research projects on Long COVID.
