This second hour of 3-part series empowers participants with preventive measures to combat this looming dementia pandemic on a personal and professional basis. Practical instructions are provided for optimizing brain health and performance in areas of sleep, diet and related interventions.

Restorative sleep not only bolsters the immune system, recharges batteries, restocks cerebral supply shelves, optimizes academic, artistic, and athletic performance, but also opens up glymphatic channels requisite for cleaning our cerebral circuit boards of the damaging debris contributing to the accumulation of beta-amyloid, tau- and alpha-synuclein proteins correlating with Alzheimer's, Parkinson’s, and Lewy Body dementias.

Healthy Diet correlates with dementia prevention. By reviewing landmark study results, providing simple recipes for success, and ground-breaking results from the lab we hope to inspire participants to improve their own best practice brain healthy nutrition and help their patients to do the same.
