How can we plan, modify, and maximize rehabilitation interventions in clinical settings? In this symposium, we discuss the benefit of the Rehabilitation Treatment Specification System (RTSS) for explicitly describing rehabilitation interventions and elucidating the clinical reasoning process. We will share examples from speech-language pathology, physical therapy, and occupational therapy to showcase benefits of integrating the RTSS in rehabilitation settings. Strategies, activities, and challenges for using the RTSS will be described.
