Through lecture, case studies, and interactive discussions led by a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and researchers, this symposium addresses a multidisciplinary person-centric approach to promote recovery from fatigue and brain fog, two of the most common and debilitating symptoms of Long COVID. First, we describe recovery patterns from fatigue and brain fog in individuals with Long COVID, and compare and contrast these patterns to those observed in other common rehabilitation populations (e.g., ME/CFS). Then, we highlight the role of patient-centric comprehensive multidisciplinary rehabilitation in promoting recovery in those with fatigue and brain fog arising from Long COVID. Finally, we identify factors that potentially exacerbate fatigue and brain fog in individuals with Long COVID, and describe appropriate patient education and treatment interventions to help mitigate exacerbating factors.
