Mind Matters: Navigating Mental Health in Early Career Researchers (ECRs)" addresses the pressing issue of mental well-being in demanding academic and clinical research environments. It acknowledges the multifaceted challenges ECRs face as they strive to excel in research, teaching, administrative, and clinical responsibilities amidst career uncertainties. By spotlighting factors such as imposter syndrome, work-life balance, isolation, and navigating the impact of events such as the COVID-19 pandemic, the symposium will provide evidence-based support tools, foster discussions on self-care strategies, and emphasize the importance of strong institutional support in promoting career success and preventing burnout among ECRs.

Interactive sessions encourage attendees to assess their mental well-being, while practical resources will provide actionable insights for proactive mental health management. While considering inclusivity and relevance across disciplines, the symposium aims to empower attendees with resources necessary to navigate the complexities of early career research while nurturing a culture of institutional well-being.
