Madeline earned her Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences and her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Missouri. Madeline started her career at Children’s Nebraska and treated patients in the PICU, CICU, med/surg units and outpatient clinic for eight years before transitioning to a part time role at the hospital. Her biggest accomplishments in her time at Children’s Nebraska include co-leading the development of a PICU early mobility program, serving as the primary mentor for the pediatric residency program, and achieving her AOTA board certification in pediatrics. She briefly worked for an organ procurement organization as a hospital liaison in 2022 and now works in quality improvement for the American Heart Association. Her current role focuses on helping post-acute facilities enhance their stroke rehab programs across Midwest states. She has earned her Trauma Informed Care Certificate, AOTA Fieldwork Educator Certificate, and recently earned her Master's in Healthcare Administration from Louisiana State University- Shreveport. Outside of healthcare, Madeline enjoys traveling with friends and family, running, writing, and has published two children’s books this past year.
