Tiffany Kendig, PT, DPT, MPH, CLT holds clinical doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) from Boston University, and is also a graduate of Columbia University’s School of Public Health (MPH - Epidemiology). Throughout her career, she has developed a passion for outcomes, value-based health care delivery and healthcare transformation.
She serves as Senior Director of Outcomes for the Outpatient Division at Select Medical. Previously, she held the roles of Director of Quality for ReVital, Select Medical’s national cancer rehabilitation program, and local ReVital program director at Kessler Rehabilitation Center. Tiffany practiced in the oncology rehabilitation setting for nearly 10 years at Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) Cancer Center in the roles of senior therapist in the acute care setting, clinical specialist in neurology in the outpatient setting, and supervisor of outpatient rehabilitation services. During her time at MSK, she contributed to program development for specialty populations and led development of the outpatient oncology physical therapy residency program. She was recognized for her accomplishments as one of ’40 Under 40 in Cancer: Rising Stars & Emerging Leaders’ in 2019.
Her commitment and passion for outcomes and high-value care are further evidenced through her work within professional organizations. Tiffany is an active member of APTA, and has served on the board of APTA Academy of Oncologic Physical Therapy in the roles of membership chair and member-at-large. She also contributed to the Academy’s Evaluation Database to Guide Effectiveness (EDGE) taskforce as a co-lead on the initiative related to functional shoulder outcome measures in breast cancer. She serves on APTA’s Cross-Academy COVID-19 Core Outcome Measures Task Force and the APTA Value of Physical Therapy Workgroup, contributing to key deliverables including the COVID-19 Core Outcome Measures consensus statement and the landmark report “The Economic Value of Physical Therapy in the United States”, respectively. Additionally, Tiffany is active in the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine’s cancer rehabilitation networking group, and is on the PROMIS Health Organization’s Education Committee.
In 2021, she was honored to be selected as a participant in Harvard Business School’s Intensive Seminar on Value Based Health Care Delivery, and also completed training in Lean SixSigma for healthcare. Tiffany has co-authored peer-reviewed manuscripts as well as lectured at national conferences on topics including outcomes and oncology rehabilitation.
