Alivia Thorn has been a physical therapist since 2021 and currently is a full-time physical therapist at Sheltering Arms Institute. Her interests in research include use of technology for high-intensity gait training and improvement in outcome measures. She holds a bachelor of science’s degree in biology from Randolph-Macon College, and she graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory & Henry School of Health Sciences. She is a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist and Certified Level 1 and Level 2 Running Gait Analyst.
