Deog Young Kim is a Professor at Severeance Hospital, Department and Research Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine. His work focuses on the rehabilitation of stroke patients, recovery of brain injuries, swallowing difficulty, osteoporosis among many others. He is originally form South Korea and earned PhD at Korea Univeristy. Before his return to Severance Hopital, he spent two years serving as a research fellow at the Human Motor Control Section, NINDS, NIH, where he received advanced training in neurostimulation methods to stimulate neurorehabilitation.
