Asha Vas is cognitive neuroscientist and an occupational therapy faculty at Texas Woman’s University. Her graduate level teaching (including clinical doctorate and PhD students) is in Applied Neuroscience, Neurobehavioral Rehabilitation, and Clinical Research Methods. Her research includes integrating principles of cognitive neuroscience into functionally relevant cognitive training/rehabilitation programs. Specially, her research involves developing and testing top-down executive function training programs salient to daily-life functioning in clinical populations including TBI and POTS. She is actively involved in service efforts at university, state, national, and international organizations.
