Medical Student
Central Michigan University College of Medicine
As a second-year M.D./M.B.A. dual-degree student at Central Michigan University, with a strong academic background in Biochemistry, Anatomy and Community Health, I am deeply committed to advancing in the field of emergency medicine, geriatric medicine, and community medicine. I served on the leadership team of our LivingFREE initiative, which facilitated home visits in the nearby communities. My involvement as the Great Lakes Representative for the EMRA MSC since January 2024 has allowed me to lead educational initiatives, facilitate career development, and build a strong network within the emergency medicine community. As Vice Chair, and now Chair, of the Michigan College of Emergency Physicians MSC since March 2023, I have advocated for quality emergency care and engaged actively in networking and student mentorship. My leadership in Emergency Medicine and Ultrasound Student Interest Groups has been instrumental in organizing key events like EM Procedures Day and Ultrasound Day, focusing on practical skills and community involvement. My tenure as M1 Medical Student Council President at CMED honed my skills in advocacy, representation, and fostering a supportive educational environment. These experiences have shaped my ability to communicate effectively, analyze situations critically, and drive positive changes, reflecting my dedication to the field and my pursuit of excellence in medical education and practice.
