Dr. Cotner is an anthropologist and Research Health Scientist/Qualitative Core Director at the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital and assistant professor at the Morsani College of Medicine, Emergency Medicine, University of South Florida. Her research has focused on improving employment and quality of life outcomes, documenting access to services and rehabilitation needs of service members and Veterans with disabilities (spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury) and their care partners, engaging stakeholders in the research process, and advancing implementation of evidence-based programs and practices.
