Alyssa is currently in her final year of the Master of Science in Physical Therapy program at the University of Toronto. Her academic journey has led to a growing passion for neurological rehabilitation research. During her studies, Alyssa developed a keen interest in this field, which prompted her to join the SCI Mobility Lab for her third clinical internship. Here, she focused on exploring balance training and the use of balance training tools for individuals with spinal cord injuries. As Alyssa approaches the completion of her studies, she is committed to research in neurological rehabilitation and is determined to continue contributing to advancements in this important area of physical therapy.
