Nicholas Hoang leads data operations and infrastructure design from within HERMES's Operation Core. He received a bachelors degree in Public Health, Epidemiology from the University of Texas at Austin and a master's in Biomedical Informatics from the UTHealth McWilliams School of Biomedical Informatics in Houston. Combining his passions for population health and data science, his work and research revolve around designing tools and programs that improve health outcomes in socially-vulnerable populations. Aside from his daily responsibilities, Nicholas enjoys tending to his garden, learning ML frameworks, and consuming knowledge about urban-design.
