Hannah Ferry is a 4th year medical student at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana where she is expected to graduate in May of 2025. Her main interest is in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and plans to apply for residency this upcoming school year. She previously went to Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama where she graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences in Biomedical Sciences and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Hannah's prior research experience consists of working on different studies during her time as a research assistant at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital, in Jacksonville, Florida, such as “backwards walking training program” to improve balance and mobility in stroke patients. She also completed a research internship at Mayo Clinic on the efficacy of different Hepatitis C medications in patients with liver transplants and hepatic encephalopathy in patients with chronic liver disease. Her future research interests include effective treatment programs on improving range of motion in stroke patients and different devices that improve mobility and comfort in patients with bilateral lower extremity amputations.
