Rachel Noia MS CCC-SLP is a Level II Inpatient Speech Language Pathologist at Gaylord Specialty Healthcare since 2016. Noia earned her Bachelor’s Degree in
Communication Processes at the University of Connecticut and her Master of Science in Communication Disorders at Southern Connecticut State University. She has been a Speech Language Pathologist for 15 years
working in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient and long term acute care settings. Along with her research studies, Rachel has clinical expertise in the areas of dysphagia, dysphagia education, Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing, Medically Complex patient populations and is certified in MBSimP and Phagenix. Rachel is creator of the "Dysphagia Education Series" which can be located on Gaylord Specialty Healthcare's YouTube channel. Rachel is also an active member of Gaylord Specialty Healthcare's Pneumonia Prevention Taskforce.
