Benjamin Adams, PT, DPT, PhD, OCS, CSCS is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Dr. Adams completed a B.S. in Neuroscience at the University of Rochester, DPT at Emory University, and PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences at the MGH Institute. After working in an outpatient sports clinic for several years, and becoming both a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Dr. Adams transitioned to a clinical research role with the U.S. Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine in Natick, MA. His current research efforts focus on identifying targeted screening and intervention strategies to mitigate musculoskeletal injuries in the military population, and Dr. Adams has a particular interest and expertise in large data analytics.
