Teresa Jacobson Kimberley, PhD, PT, is Professor and Director of the Brain Recovery Lab, in the Department of Physical Therapy in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the MGH Institute of Health Professions and research faculty at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and Harvard Medical School and in the Department of Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital. Her lab’s focus is to understand the pathophysiology of motor impairment and develop novel rehabilitation interventions for neurologic disorders.
Her research helped to pioneer the use of neuroimaging and neuromodulation in the investigation of rehabilitation-related issues. Her work is funded through the National Institutes of Health, private foundations and industry partners.
