Dr. Therese O’Neil-Pirozzi is research faculty in the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital/Harvard Medical School Traumatic Brain Injury Model System. She is also an Associate Professor in the Northeastern University Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Dr. O’Neil-Pirozzi has worked with individuals with neurological disorders for more than 20 years. She is the author/co-author of numerous peer-reviewed publications, regarding the assessment and treatment of cognitive-communication impairments following acquired brain injury, with an emphasis on brain health, cognitive exercise, and neuroplasticity; return to work; and cross-cultural caregiver and survivor responses to acquired brain injury.
