Patient Partner/Advisor

I am a patient partner with Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, and anxiety. I am also Autistic. I have a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Child and Youth Studies with a minor in Disability Studies from Carleton University. I additionally have training as a Developmental Services Worker/Community Support Worker.
I currently work for CanChild Centre for Childhood Disability Research, as a Patient Advisor, Research Co-Investigator/ Key Knowelege User and I am the Accessibility Champion for the Family Engagement in Research Course hosted by McMaster University.
I am actively engaged in different research projects about disability and/or research engagement. I am passionate about disability, child and human rights, and accessibility.
I strive to continuously make the world I live in better and more accessible for myself and future generations to come.
