PhD Candidate
McMaster University, Canada
MScPT/PhD dual degree student at McMaster University in Rehabilitation Sciences, where my PhD work examines fall risk in community dwelling older adults. I am interested in determining how to best maintain older adults’ independence to prevent and attenuate mobility-related hospitalizations. Prior to starting my dual-degree program, I worked as a Research Coordinator in Palliative Care at Mount Sinai Hospital’s Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care. My research interests tie together emphasizing the importance of physical movement with undertaking creative knowledge translation efforts to improve quality of life.
