Cassandra D’Amore is a doctoral student in the School of Rehabilitation Science at McMaster University. Before entering graduate studies, she worked for several years as a registered massage therapist in rehabilitation clinics where she became interested in preventative strategies for mobility and quality of life in older adults. Current research areas include physical activity and social participation in older adults. Her planned doctoral thesis work will explore physical activity behaviour and its determinants in the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging.
