Dr. Mark V. Albert is the director of the Biomedical AI Lab at the University of North Texas and holds a dual appointment in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Department of Biomedical Engineering. He is also the Associate Chair for Graduate Studies in CSE, overseeing 2,000+ graduate students in the department. His lab leverages machine learning to automate the collection and inference of clinically useful health information from wearable sensors to improve clinical outcomes.
