Graduate Student
Rehabilitation Sciences Institute, Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, Canada
Arya is a second year master’s student at the University of Toronto Rehabilitation Sciences Institute program. She completed her Honours Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at McMaster University, where she discovered her interest for research in the field of spinal cord injury. Her current research project is focused on developing a core outcome assessment battery for activity-based therapy for spinal cord injury rehabilitation within community clinics. Arya hopes her project can contribute to the growing body of literature to support the implementation of activity-based therapy in Canada. During her free time Arya is a part-time Indian classical dancer which is also where her passion for understanding how the human body moves stems from.
