Lori Cook, PhD is the Director of Clinical Research for the Center for BrainHealth at UT Dallas, as well as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in UTD’s School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences. Much of her work examines the benefit and application of cognitive training protocols to promote higher-order cognitive skills, as well as the long-term recovery of youth after brain injury, including youth athletes with persistent effects of concussion. She has collaborated with leading pediatric brain injury researchers from across the country and has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications in the field.
