Ruchi Patel, MA, OTR/L, is an occupational therapist with more than 15 years of experience in neurorehabilitation. She has worked at world-class hospitals New York Presbyterian/Cornell Medical Center and Mt. Sinai providing inpatient and outpatient rehab. Ruchi is also a published clinical researcher and presenter focusing on stroke rehabilitation and the use of technology in rehab. She started working with Microtransponder during the Pivotal clinical study and is now a consultant focused on training therapists. She continues to work in a per diem role at NYP-Cornell to support research endeavors and provide mentorship. She enjoys educating patients and fellow therapists about advancing rehab therapy, particularly related to post stroke rehab.
