Nellie Butler is a clinical research assistant at PolicyLab at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Nellie works with Dr. Sabrina Gmuca on research aiming to identify innovative strategies to improve long-term treatment outcomes for adolescents with amplified musculoskeletal pain syndrome (AMPS) as well as increased accessibility to non-pharmacologic multidisciplinary treatment modalities. More specifically, their research explores the role of resilience and other psychosocial factors in adolescents with AMPS and their parents.
