Alexander Irizarry Mendez, PhD

Dr. Irizarry-Mendez is a bilingual (Spanish/English) Rehabilitation Psychology resident at James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital (Tampa VA). He also completed a Clinical Health Psychology postdoctoral fellowship at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, FL. Throughout his career, he acquired substantial clinical experience, with a focus on hospital-based psychology. Since 2016, he has actively participated in several research grants, such as R21 and U54, taking on diverse roles, including project coordinator.
