Dr. McIver currently works with Brooks Rehabilitation in Jacksonville, FL as a Neurologic Physical Therapist. Prior to settling in Florida, he worked in North Carolina as a Physical Therapist in multiple treatment settings with patients who had a variety of orthopedic and neurologic disabilities. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2004 from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. To increase his expertise in the rehabilitation of those with Neurologic conditions, he completed Neurologic Residency training at Brooks Rehabilitation in 2010 and became a board certified neurologic specialist in 2011. His passion for working with patients who are impacted by Neurologic injuries has carried over into a passion for technological advancements that help his patients achieve more independence and function in their everyday lives. This opportunity evolved into his current role with Brooks Rehabilitation as the Director of the Brooks Center for Innovation, where he is responsible for keeping Brooks on the cutting edge of rehabilitation technology. In this role he has lectured extensively on current rehabilitation technology trends.
