Ching-Lin Hsieh, PhD, OTR, holds the position of Professor at the School of Occupational Therapy, National Taiwan University. His research interests encompass the following areas: (1) Applied psychometrics, (2) Outcome measurement, and (3) Using AI to revise or develop measurement tools. Some of his recent research endeavors include: (a) Development of a computerized adaptive testing system for assessing perceived difficulty in performing activities of daily living in individuals with stroke. (b) Investigation into the effect of patient-centered occupational therapy on the independence of daily living in stroke patients. (c) Cultural adaptation and preliminary examination of the psychometric properties of the Occupational Therapy Adult Perceptual Screening Test.
