I am a statistician and Associate professor at the School of Public Health (UTSPH) Department of Biostatistics and Data Science at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). I have worked, as a statistician, on traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) studies with research teams at TIRR Memorial Herman Rehabilitation Hospital in Houston TX since 2015. This work includes TBI studies related with perceived stigma, social participation, measurements of memory impairment and productivity, relationship between neurobehavioral symptom inventory (NSI) and Rivermead Post-Concussion Symptoms Questionnaire (RPQ) scores, among others. I am member of UTSPH Coordinating Center for Clinical Trials (CCCT). My work focuses on the development of Bayesian statistical methods to analyze biomedical data. I have worked on the methodology development and analysis of clinical trial, phage display experiment, genetics, environmental, questionnaire, survey, psychological, and bioassay experiment data.
