Abinethaa Paramasivam will be graduating from the Master of Science in Public Health program at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in May 2024. Prior to attending Hopkins, she spent two impactful years at the Ontario Ministry of Health (Canada) where she helped oversee the Ontario Midwifery Program. While pursuing her graduate students, she worked for Catholic Relief Services Ethiopia, Mozambique National Institute of Health, and the World Health Organization, before joining Jhpiego, where she is currently an intern. Additionally, she has contributed to the field of deafblindness research with 8 peer-reviewed publications and 23 conference presentations, including serving as a peer-reviewer for two esteemed journals. She is interested in improving the lives of equity-deserving communities in low-resource settings.
