Dr. Frances Weaver is senior research career scientist at the Center of Innovation for Complex Chronic Healthcare (CINCCH) at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital and is a professor in Parkinson School of Health Sciences and Public Health, Loyola University, Chicago. Her research interests include secondary complications of neurological conditions (particularly spinal cord injury and Parkinson’s disease), implementation of evidence-based findings and evaluation of national VA policies and programs. She has served as a principal investigator on numerous VA and non-VA funded grants and has mentored many fellows and junior faculty during her tenure. Currently, she is currently co-leading one of the VA’s Evidence Based Practice centers. Dr. Weaver serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Spinal Cord Medicine and Evaluation and the Health Professions.
