Dana Walsh, PT, MPT is the Senior Director of Rehabilitation and Therapy Services at Children’s Health. She has oversite of the therapy division at a system level including over 400 team members. She is responsible for the regulatory and compliance of this division as well as the strategic planning, quality, safety, patient satisfaction and financial growth. Dana has been in her current position with Children’s Health for 8 years.
Prior to joining Children’s Health, Dana spent 11 years with Our Children’s House at Baylor with her most recent role being that of Executive Director of Operations. This position included hospital operations as well as management of therapy department for the Dallas
based programs. Before moving into leadership Dana worked as a pediatric Physical Therapist on the neuro-rehab floor at
Cook Children’s Hospital in Arlington Tx. Dana holds a BS in Community Health from Texas A&M University, and a Master’s in Physical Therapy from University of Texas Medical Branch. She is a licensed Physical Therapist with 25 years of experience in pediatric rehabilitation including inpatient and outpatient programs.
