Dr. Stroupe joined the Health Systems Research program at Hines VA Hospital in 1999. In addition, he has an appointment as a Professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences, Loyola University Chicago, Maywood, IL. Dr. Stroupe received his Ph.D. in Economics from Indiana University - Bloomington in June 1998. Dr. Stroupe’s research interests include the health economics of chronic illness, cost-effectiveness of healthcare treatments, and healthcare policy.
