Dr. Fuzail Ahmad, an accomplished physiotherapist and academic, serves as an Associate Professor and Assistant Dean at the College of Applied Sciences, Almaarefa University in Diriya, Riyadh. Dr. Ahmad's impressive educational journey began with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Bangalore University in 2002, followed by a Master of Physiotherapy from Hamdard University, New Delhi in 2005, culminating in a PhD from Singhania University, Rajasthan in 2014.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ahmad has been a prominent figure in academic and professional circles, particularly in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation. His research focuses on neurorehabilitation, as evidenced by his PhD dissertation on enhancing motor skills and postural control in children with cerebral palsy through task-oriented training and trunk stabilization.
Dr. Ahmad has played a pivotal role in various academic and quality assurance committees at Majmaah University from 2011 to 2022, including serving as the Head of the Department of Physical Therapy & Health Rehabilitation and leading the CAMS Quality Assurance team. His leadership extends to editorial responsibilities, having been a member of the editorial committee of the Majmaah Journal of Health Sciences.
His innovative contributions to his field are highlighted by his achievements, such as receiving a Gold Medal at the 12th International Invention Fair in the Middle East in 2020 for developing an eye gesture detection program aimed at assisting neurological patients—a project currently under consideration for a UK patent.
