Dr. Reistetter is an occupational therapist recognized for research on rehabilitation outcomes and community engagement. He has published on geographic variation, community participation, rehabilitation outcomes, and functional status for individuals with disabilities receiving care in inpatient rehabilitation facilities, long-term care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and home health agencies. His research funding includes both training and research grants awarded by the NIH and AHRQ on rehabilitation health services and outcomes research.
