Dr. Michal Kafri (PhD, PT) is a senior lecturer in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Haifa. She holds a M.Sc. in physiology and pharmacology and a PhD in Medical sciences. She completed her post-doctoral studies in the Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Science of Rutgers, NJ. In her research, Dr. Kafri focuses on neurological rehabilitation and motor learning in people with neurological conditions, and in particular people post stroke. She has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals in the field. In addition, she has extensive clinical experience in neurological rehabilitation, having worked as a physical therapist in various settings.
