Mayah Benning is a graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, with a concentration in exercise science. After graduation, she was a key team member at the Institute for Exercise and Environmental Medicine in the Thermoregulatory laboratory conducting clinical research related to cooling modalities for burn injury survivors and elderly individuals. Now, she works as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Baylor Scott & White on the Traumatic Brain Injury Model Systems study assisting with studies related to Traumatic Brain Injuries and the Quality of life for those with TBIs. Other professional interests include personal training and athletic coaching.
