Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Fellow

Lauren N. Ratcliffe, Psy.D., is returning to Shepherd Center to complete her second year of fellowship as a research postdoctoral fellow. She completed one year of fellowship at Wake Forest School of Medicine in the Department of Neurology conducting outpatient evaluations and co-established the neuropsychology service on the inpatient brain injury rehabilitation unit. She completed her doctoral degree at Mercer University in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in clinical neuropsychology, and her neuropsychology predoctoral internship at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System. Clinically, she provides inpatient rehabilitation-focused and outpatient neuropsychological assessment and intervention to patients with diverse medical conditions. Her research focuses on cognitive screening measures, aging, and psychometrics. Dr. Ratcliffe currently serves as a member on NAN’s Publication Committee and AACN’s Student Affairs Committee, and previously she served on NAN’s Women in Leadership Committee and was President of Mercer University’s Association of Neuropsychology Students and Trainees (ANST) Interest Group.
