Dr. Gerald C. Imaezue is an assistant professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of South Florida. Dr. Imaezue’s overarching research goal is to develop novel procedures for self-directed treatment of communication disorders that circumvent linguistic barriers and promote access to personalized treatment for individuals with aphasia and related disorders. Dr. Imaezue directs the Brain and Aphasia Research Lab, where he works with a team of talented student scientists and collaborators within and outside USF on multiple projects designed to attain this overall goal.
