A clinician-scientist with a passion for post-stroke rehabilitation of language and cognitive outcomes, Nicodemus Oey was born in the equatorial town of Padang, Sumatra Barat, Indonesia and emigrated to Niagara Falls, Canada at the age of 11.
Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, French, English, and with a working knowledge of Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, and Korean, Nicodemus has a burning desire to translate scientific findings into the patient's bedside in the field of neurorehabilitation.
