A. Personal Statement
The main goal of the present study is to investigate if veterans with spinal cord injury are receiving appropriate dental care, and if not, what are the barriers hindering them from receiving this care. With my experience as a SCI Specialist providing medical care in the VA Medical Center at Richmond and Milwaukee since 2003, I have the expertise necessary to enroll SCI patients to complete this retrospective study.
