Marlon Wong is a pain science educator and clinical scientist. He has over 20 years of experience as a physical therapist, and he completed a PhD in Physical Therapy in 2017 and post-doctorate fellowship training in neuropathic pain at the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis in 2022. Dr. Wong is an Associate Professor in the University of Miami Department of Physical Therapy, where he teaches in the entry level DPT and post professional residency programs, and he serves an administrative role in the UHealth Physical Therapy clinics. Dr. Wong’s research areas of interest include pain related topics across various patient populations including chronic musculoskeletal pain, neuropathic pain, and cancer related pain. Dr. Wong lectures locally and nationally on clinical reasoning and pain science related topics.
