Occupational Therapist, Postdoctoral Fellow

Dr. Bridget Kraus is an occupational therapist and postdoctoral fellow at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Prior to completing her Ph.D., Dr. Kraus was the lead spinal cord injury (SCI) OT at an intensive inpatient rehabilitation hospital. Her experiences treating patients solidified her commitment to the neurological population and prompted her to pursue research. Her goals are to improve the rehabilitation approaches and quality of life for persons with neurological diagnoses, like SCI, through intervention development, chronic self-management, assistive technology, and implementation science. Dr. Kraus also closely collaborates with researchers at NextGen Precision Health's Clinical and Translational Science Unit and the Washington University in St. Louis' School of Medicine on physical disability and rehabilitation research.
