Dr. Nyaz Didehbani, is a Licensed Clinical Neuropsychologist and an Associate Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in neuropsychological assessment with a primary interest in examining individuals with sports-related concussion and neurocognitive disorders. She serves on the Executive Board of the Sports Neuropsychology Society. She also served as the Chair for the Women in Leadership Committee of the National Academy of Neuropsychology and as a Delegate for the Cultural Neuropsychology Counsel. Dr. Didehbani’s current research focuses on both acute and longitudinal effects of mild traumatic brain injury in youth athletes to the aging effects of TBI later in life. She has published in numerous academic journals with 3 book chapters on TBI and presented both nationally and internationally on the impact of concussions.
