Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence (TBICoE)
Andrew Darr, PhD is currently a Senior Research Neuroscientist with the Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence (TBICoE) research group at the Intrepid Spirit Center, an interdisciplinary concussion treatment center for service members, part of the Naval Research Hospital Camp Pendleton. In addition to his recent work studying various rehabilitation strategies for active-duty service members with mTBI and persistent concussive symptoms, he has published in the areas of developmental neurobiology, as well as spinal cord injury and mechanisms that promote neuro-regeneration. Prior to joining TBICoE, he was an Assistant Professor and Director of Neuroscience Curriculum for Undergraduate Medical Education at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine.
