Dr. Fernando Areas is a Research Fellow in Baylor Scott and White Research Institute.
Prior to joining Baylor Scott, he was a Researcher and Associate professor for 15 years os experience in Brazil. Dr. Areas received a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Brazil in 2018.
Dr. Areas’s team is dedicated to improving the lives of people with Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, and spinal cord injuries by advancing neuromotor recovery through neuromodulation and Robotic Gait Training.
