Danielle Toccalino (she/her) completed her PhD in Health Services Research at the Institute of Health, Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto (UofT). Her doctoral research explored the intersections of intimate partner violence, traumatic brain injury, and mental health specifically as it relates to access to and use of and experiences with healthcare and community services.
She is currently a CIHR-IHSPR Health Systems Impact Fellow with Women’s College Hospital in Toronto, exploring service access for trans and gender diverse survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault.
